Exterior Cleaning at the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport
The exterior of the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) is constructed of Alucobond panels. This material requires periodic cleaning to keep its luster. Alucobond panels must not be treated with any abrasives or high pressure. Proper cleaning of Alucobond panels requires special equipment and specialized cleaning products.
The exterior of the airport had taken years of exposure to jet engine exhaust and was quite stained. We put safety first, observing OSHA and TSA guidelines. We worked with the airport to ensure that we had minimal impact on the normal flow of traffic around the buildings. Our crews spent four days expertly restoring the beauty of the CHO buildings.
